so sorry that i never update my trip for soooo long.. very lazy ah.. so it is here! =)

DAY 1
nth much happened todae. went to the airport around 7.30pm and did the check in and stuff. went for dinner at ajisen and service was bad. we entered the departure hall and did a little shoppin! saw many many mini perfumes tt were out for sale and i practically went crazy! gonna get my cuzzie to buy for me since she can get 30% discount. woolala. =) wandered around till bout 9 then boarded the plane. plane left at 9.35pm and the flight is 7 hours. which means we will reach brisbane at 7am (their time). had to slp throughout the ride but i couldnt coz it is so freaking uncomfortable! my mom din slp the whole night and tt was the start of the so called 'trouble'.

DAY 2
half an hour be4 we reached brisbane, my mom started to feel nauseous. she started to vomit like crazy. goodness gracious me. i was next to her so i had to look after her of course. her puke make me feel like puking too la! shant elaborate on it. but even after we landed. she still continued to vomit. like thrice? met the tour group outside and we had to set off to Australia Zoo. my mom din want to join us but she had no choice coz we could only check in to the hotel after visiting Australia Zoo. Took 2 hours to reach Australia Zoo from the airport and we slept throughout the journey. and FINALLY, we reached Australia Zoo. The purpose of me going to Brisbane!

the pigs in the kids zoo! i fed them . it was rather sick though. haha.. there were also sheeps and goats! tongue was so hot and sticky! yucks! but it was so fun..

hanged around and watched another croc show but din take photos. met with the tour group and then headed to the resort to rest le! reached the resort and had a hot bath in the spa tub. shiokness! =) slept for about 3 hours be4 gg to dinner. Dinner was fine but not to my liking. but fruits was great! and i really found sth cute. almost every meal we take they serve water in such a bottle. interesting? haha..



















DAY 3
woke up at 7am(5am in singapore), went for breakfast at the cafe in the resort. the morning breeze was freezing. goodness. oh yea.. forgot to tok about the weather in brisbane. it was the first week of summer. summer suppose to be hot right? but is was freezing cold. temp was 18 degrees. sun is scorching hot but the wind is just so cold. so yea. tts about the weather. after breakfast, we started our tour by heading to the ginger factory first.
SO HERE WE ARE. we were brought by this lady to a ginger tour.

after the ginger tour, she brought us to the tasting room to try their different ginger products. the ginger drink was awful but there were nice sauces by using ginger to make and some biscuits. bought some souvenirs from there and off to our next stop!
THE WINERY! the journey to the winery took us about 2 and a half hours. looong looong journey.

first thing i saw at the winery was the sheeps. smelly and noisy..







while we were tasting wine my bro wass learning how to use the whip.






the funny funny coloured wine they produced. taste disgusting though coz i never liked wine.





after tasting a few types of wine. i couldnt take it so i went to learn how to use the whip! haha.. fun but tiring. i even whipped myself. and on the face! so painful la! =( but it was really fun!
after the tour at the winery we headed to our hotel! COURTYARD by marriot which is situated in surfers paradise!
when we first arrived there, there was SO many ppl. and u know why? coz it was schoolies week in brisbane then! for those of u hu do not know, schoolies week is sort of a function that te govt organises for grade 12 students hu have completed their exams and they can just party for the whole week in surfers paradise! so fun right? why cant singapore have such a thing sia.
so we went to our rooms.






here is my bro and my room! our beds. one queen sized bed each! =)

unpacked our luggages and stuff and rested. met the tour grp for a grp dinner at a chinese restaurant near our hotel. dinner was great. rice at last. =) haha.. went shopping after dinner! but my mom went back to the hotel room coz she said she was tired. so it was just me, my dad and my bro. shopped around and bought a few hard rock stuff. oh ya! i left my adidas jacket in the resort! was so sad. so bought a grey pullover in hard rock. went to arcade after tt and played many games. their arcade rock! went back to hotel around 9 and i fell aslp right after i bathed.

DAY 4
had breakfast. the photo looked abit disgusting but ya.. tts about what i ate. haha..

he brought us to just have a peek at the beach and it is really beautiful. couldnt wait to go there..

first stop was this place. took a small roller coaster. no kick at all but was fun.







after the ride we took a rive ride which was totally boring and went to watch the police academy show.







this person is one funny guy. a great entertainer to keep us occupied when we had to wait for the show to start!








so the show started! it was AWESOME!

after the show me and my bro went to take the scooby doo ride. rather scary but when we take it for the 2nd time it wasnt anymore.

the ride even has a part where the roller coaster will go down backwards. scariest part.haha.

back to hotel then. again, we went for dinner and then shopping! shopped a lot but din buy a lot. things there are just so expensive.

DAY 6






visited the beach in the morning. finally!









bro playing in the water! he was freezing though.




went to meet this family from the tourgroup at 11 in the hotel lobby. we were gg to pacific fair. biggest shopping place in gold coast. wanted to take a stretched limousine. but the other family thought it was too expensive. =( so just a normal taxi. btw, taxi fares in aus is SO expensive. meter jumps every 5 secs.haha..
so we reached pacific fair and had our lunch in the food court. just a simple meal but we spent like $50 aud already. see how high is the SOL in aus?
shopped around but bought only 3-4 things nia. saw this really nice dress which wqas 100 plus and surprisingly my mom let me buy it BUT, the smallest size is still too big for me. i was SO disappointed. =( but is alright. i got 2 other dresses later on. played a bit of arcade there and we went back to the hotel coz i was too lazy to shop already. can u believe it ? michelle is TOO lazy to shop! its a miracle..haha..
so we went back to the hotel and we decided to go back to the beach. this time i went into the water too! FUN FUN FUN! but cold. had a few abrasions coz the wave was so strong that it washed me up the beach.haha... but all in all it was fun... had dinner at a hong kong restaurant after tt. tried roast pigeon for the first time. YUMMY! love it =)
here comes the fun part. our whole family went to the arcade and played till midnight! haha.. played this sort of jackpot thingy. SO SO fun. i got jackpot and i screamed like mad. some ang moh guys were also there and they helped me scream too. SO FUN! won like 200 over coins! but overall we won like 500-600 coins. FUN FUN FUN! =)
went back to the hotel and slept like straight away. haha..

DAY 7
last dae in aus =( woke up later todae and we checked out. head to airport and so bye bye gold coast. i was so unlucky tt i got my 'thing'. had cramps and i had to lie in the airport while waiting. terrible. but at least it came on the last dae so lucky me. =)

soon we boarded the plane and i slpt. woke up and eat then slp again. woke up and then EAT again. drank a lil wine but it was awful haha.. and finally HOME SWEET HOME! =)
miss australia though. but i still love singapore coz ppl i love are all here! have some pictures of the clouds i took when i was on the plane but i am too lazy to post le. so i will upload it another dae. =)
